We are looking for a Finance Associate to join our Team in Algeria; they will be working and growing within the Finance department and will report directly to our Maghreb Area Financial controller.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Lead the procure to pay process for invoices & expense reports, locally & internally
- Process local & foreign currency Expense Reports & send accounting instructions to the outsourced accountant.
- Payment list preparation
- Follow up on collections with distributors
- Accounts analysis & reconciliation with collaboration of accounting firm
- Monitor finance documents’ approval and collection (archiving).
- Support the finance controller in all external audit requests.
- Completing a monthly testing of selected internal controls as defined by the financial controller. Work with stakeholders on identifying and implementing an action plan to close the gaps.
- Support the FC in updating the finance policies and procedures.
- Work closely with others department to provide financial support to request related to, but not limited to, installed base, costs center follow up, commercial performance, closing process.
- Leading on the monthly expenses analysis and the cost optimization initiatives
- Strong collaboration with the FC on Business review reports.
- Collaboration on budget planning process.
- Ad Hoc business analysis
WHO ARE YOU?
- Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar activity
- Shows strong commitment to the continuous improvement processes
- Precise, Accurate, Showing Discipline
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP (SAP) preferable
- Good communication and Presentation skills
- Adaptability / Flexibility / Ability to work in a multinational environment.
- Controlling & accounting, finance, management, office automation and database
- Excellent interpersonal skills, rigor, courage
- Analytical and synthesizing capabilities
- Ability to prepare & present data without ambiguity or complexity
