Field Product & IT Specialist Clinical

We are looking for a Field Product and IT Specialist Clinical, who will work and grow within the Greek Clinical Sales department and will report to the local Clinical Sales Manager within a team of 8 co-workers.

This position will be based in Athens, with travel expected 75% of the time.

What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?

- Provide application specialist support to  clinical customers for all (existing & new) products and support in delivering the value of solutions consisting of reagents, instruments and  software  to the end user

- Close collaboration with sales and technical support team to follow up customer needs and set up appropriate plans and actions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

- Support tendering procedure by preparing documentation, highlighting products unique characteristics and monitoring time wise forthcoming tenders

- Perform system/software demonstrations being able to customize IT solutions to generate the maximum value for the customer on Anti-Microbial Stewardship, MDRO  and Sepsis management. Interact with different customer  stakeholders ( IT dept, Lab, AMS committee,) for proper value based solution delivery

- Deliver customer users training on new installations or re-trainings for new users.

- Support cross selling actions  by discovering unmet customer needs and proposing additional products to answer to those. Present our solution, provide scientific evidence or other  proofs to the customers

Who are you?

- Biology (or similar) degree. Information Technology  degree or studies will be a plus

- Job performance is greatly enhanced by a good knowledge of microbiology and molecular biology. This includes  knowledge in microbiology and  molecular biology. On-hands  experience in clinical routine microbiology lab will be a plus.

- 2/3 years of experience in similar roles

- excellent communication and client management skills
