Main Responsibilities:

  • Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team.
  • Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
  • Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage customer relationships within a defined territory and act as the primary contact for assigned accounts.
  • Gather and validate customer requirements, escalating complex needs to higher management when required.
  • Develop and execute account plans, and collaboration with the team adopting the company methodology.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products, services, and support to customers.
  • Track account performance and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and immediate corrective actions.
  • Guide team members in daily activities to ensure consistency with policies, practices, and customer expectations.

 

Communication & Influence:

  • Convince external parties to bioMerieux through persuasion and change management techniques, where strong interest exists to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.

 

Innovation:

  • Identify problems and update or modify working methods in own role without the benefit of defined procedures to improve efficency or quality as part of day-to-day activities. Problems and issues may be only vaguely defined and require understanding and consideration of other disciplines and job areas.

 

Experience and Qualitifcations:

  • Scientific or business degree.
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in managing a team, preferably in microbiology or microbiological environment.
  • Previous track record in animating local sales forces
  • International experience is a must with a good knowledge of the countries area.
  • Possesses a broad understanding of account management principles, with growing expertise in maintaining customer relationships, tracking sales trends, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrates developing skills in supporting account strategies and resolving client challenges to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Very good negotiation & communication skills. Sales results oriented
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with cross cultural flexibility
  • Frequent travels in the local area/country.
