Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job

This position plays a key role to deliver on the marketing strategy and annual brand plan development for the immunoassay and molecular diagnostics business in Thailand. This role works closely with customer facing teams across the country to deliver on the sales and profitability of the Immunology and Molecular franchises.

 

Key Responsibilities

1.    Develop and ensure implementation of a well-defined and actionable marketing plan geared towards achievement of business objectives with monitoring and measurement in place.

The plan should include:
•    Define, develop and implement an effective market development plan. Help capture met and unmet needs and assist translating these to sustainable value proposition.
•    Formulate and implement an action plan to drive installed base consumption.
•    Proactively define/implement pricing, positioning and promotion actions required to ensure a profitable business.
•    Development and delivery of cost-effective communication tools that support the Sales effort.
•    Product training and orientation programs – developed and delivered.

2.    Own the new product launch responsibilities, including pre-launch market research, G2M preparations, launch plan development and execution  
3.    Be a strong brand ambassador working to deliver customer acceptance of the value of our products to become a partner of choice – market reputation and relevance.
4.    Be the voice of the customer within the Company to enable relevant solutions and positioning.
5.    Proactively work with sales team to monitor the competitive intelligence and update the competitors’ IB within current customers on a quarterly basis
6.    Work with medical affairs team closely to deliver clinical educations and support customer’s clinical study needs 


Key Deliverables

1.    Realistic and defensible STRAT and Budget
2.    Complete and timely Marketing Action Plan following the marketing strategy.
3.    Driving all marketing actions in unison with the sales / AS / FSE/ Medical affairs teams to meet the annual budgeted figures for revenue and profitability.
4.    Effective training of the internal Team – monitored through increase in sales

 

Educational Background & Experience

•    B.Sc. / MSc. Lifesciences / Immunology / Molecular Biology
•    MBA (Marketing) preferred
•    Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the IVD industry with track records of new product launch; working with local clinician KOLs and health care professionals; and up-to-date IVD market and competition knowledge
