An exciting vacancy has arisen for an Account Manager covering the Manchester/Leeds area. Reporting to the Business Manager for the region, this position will be the primary contact for customers, responsible for cultivating and driving the commercial relationship for customer accounts to achieve territory sales budget target.  Candidates need to be based in the Manchester or Leeds area. 

 

What will your responsibilites be at bioMerieux?

 

You will be an Account Manger for all bioMerieux solutions and product ranges, focusing on opportunity identification and management to drive the development of the business within the existing customer base and prospective new customers. You will be progressing the adoption of our diagnostic solutions and product ranges in order to achieve the overall sales target and growth expectations for your territory. 

 

You will be identifying and proposing technical, financial and clinical solutions whilst closely collaborating with the Business Manager and other Account Managers in order to provide the best offer to the customer with bioMerieux products. 

 

Who are you?

 

It is essential to have a Bachelor of Science in biology, ideally with a specialisation in Microbiology and combined with a business degree. 

 

It is desriable for you to have significant experience in sales, preferably in the life sciences environment and knowledge of the bioMerieux offer and the competing offer. 

 

You must have strong analytical and decision making skills, as well as a strong customer focus and passion for achieving timelines. We are looking for someone who has solid communication and presentation skills who can develop strong peer-to-peer relationships and credible relationships with healthcare professionals.
