Reporting to the EME Clinical Marketing VP, the EME Strategic Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing a strategic view of EME evolutions in terms of markets and solutions needed for our customers to internal stakeholders such as Global Marketing, R&D, etc. This role is critical to ensure that EME needs and market specificities are well documented, understood and taken into account in the company’s development and acquisition projects.

The EME Strategic Marketing Manager will also be responsible for running strategic processes of the EME Marketing team (ie: our Strategic Program “Full Potential”, strategic planning, marketing planning, quarterly reviews,…)

This position will be based in EME with approximately 10 to 20% travel throughout the region.

What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?

Strategic Marketing:

  • Serve as the concentrated voice of the customers/clusters regarding specific EME needs in terms of development and lifecycle management
  • Own the new product planning
  • Work with Global Marketing on new solution ideas and business development projects
  • Lead the EME Strategic Program “Full Potential” exercises (calculation of the “Full Potential” Strategic Program for our major solutions and be a reference point in the EME team on these strategic initiatives)
  • Lead the strategic planning exercise


  • Be an Ambassador for bioMérieux EME teams within and outside the organization
  • Adopt a “Dare & Try” mindset targeting growth in alignment with bioMérieux core values


Who are you?

  • Graduate degree in Science and/or Marketing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a business environment (healthcare industry, ideally IVD)
  • You have a strong business acumen, focused on pragmatic approach and are able to adapt and learn quickly
  • You excel in both qualitative and quantitative analysis (ie: pricing analyses, market share estimates,…)
  • You are result and progress oriented with the ability to handle priorities and deliver commitments on time
  • You are a team player and demonstrate leadership through influence. You have a “be at the service of” mindset and enjoy promoting knowledge and sharing with local teams
  • You thrive working in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships
