We are looking for a Planner & Scheduler who will work and grow within the Customer Service department and will report to the Field Service Engineer Manager UKI within a team of 17 colleagues.
This position will be based in our Basingstoke office.
What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?
- Optimize service and support planning, assignment, and dispatching.
- Update and manage the service schedule in a timely and accurate manner.
- Plan and communicate with customers and teams in advance.
- Assign and dispatch field agents with the right skills to a work order, in line with SLA’s.
- Ensure and check field agents are equipped with required parts to perform field service visits.
- Communicate with customers and confirm appointments.
- Coordinate, communicate and work cross functionally with service teams
- Identify resource needs/shortage/excess
- Collaborate with supply chain, providing input for spare parts planning, orders, and delivery
- Inform stakeholders about any unplanned activity that may have impact field service visits
Who are you?
You have project management, Field Engineer Scheduling knowledge with a preferably 3 years in customer service support activities. We are looking for someone with basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, preferably in medical devices. You will ideally have CRM (Salesforce) and SAP knowledge.
We are looking for an effective communicator, someone who can work as part of a team with the ability to multitask and manage challenging situations.
