We are delighted to announce that we are growing our Commercial Sales UKI team! Due to company growth, we are now looking for a Solutions Manager focusing on Infectious Diseases Solutions and Product ranges. In this role you will be focused on opportunity identification and management to drive the development of the business, within the existing Customer base and prospective new Customers and engaging with all key decision-makers both in and outside the lab.
This role reports to the Business Manager for Ireland, Scotland and North of England.
Ideally you will be based in the Newcastle area as the role cover North of England and also parts of Scotland.
What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?
As a Solutions Manager your main objective is to grow the sales for the Infectious Diseases Solutions and product ranges by following up qualified leads and converting these into buying and pescribing customers. You will collaborate with Account Managers and other internal colleagues to drive growth in the territory as we operate an Account Team Management approach.
Main responsibilities include:
- Progress direct sales of the Infectious Disease Solutions and product ranges, within existing Customer base and prospective new Customers.
- Analyse strategic decision makers in the hospital and understand customer needs around Sepsis, AMR & AMS
- Identify and convince decision makes and influencers. Propose technical, financial and clinical solutions (Consultant Microbiologist, Pharmacists and C-Suite).
- Collect insights from healthcare providers regarding the clinical and diagnostic management of AMR/AMS and use this information to prepare the way for more appropriate and wider usage of the products.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Solution Managers & Clinical Implementation Managers to have the best offer to the customer with other bioMérieux products
- Support Account Managers in pre-sales works and provide tenders support.
- Organize interface between decision makers and key player in the company and participate to regional congresses.
- Set up evaluations in line with marketing department scientific protocol requirements.
- Respect the basics of bioMérieux Sales Excellence principles.
Who are you?
Studies and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science required, in biology/ infectious diseases- ideally with a specialization in Microbiology and combined with a business degree.
- Significant experience in sales, preferably in the Life Science environment, and knowledge of the bioMérieux offer and the competing offer.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Cutting-edge scientific understanding and technical expertise in diagnostics is a plus
- Product knowledge and ability to develop scientific communication/promotional initiatives
- Analytical and decision making skills
- Excellent business and strategic planning and execution capabilities with drive for results
