REGIONAL MARKETING SR. DIRECTOR, LATIN AMERICA 

The GO28 operating model role drives the successful deployment of the GO28 Commercial Operating Model within the region, the Regional Marketing Manager will drive this transformation maintaining operational excellence, and fostering stakeholder engagement ensuring alignment with global strategic priorities while ensuring market-driven, customer-centric portfolio decisions, clarifying roles across all levels, empowering local teams for commercial and launch execution, and delivering a differentiated experience throughout the customer journey.

The Regional Marketing Manager will report to the Sr Vice President, Clinical Operations - Latin America.

 

Main Accountabilities include :

• Strategic Planning

• Lead the development of the regional marketing and communication plans, grounded in robust market and account-based analysis. Define clear strategic priorities and key actions to drive business growth, engaging all relevant cross-functional stakeholders.

• Execution & Commercial Enablement

•  Support the effective execution of the marketing strategy by ensuring the right conditions are in place account management, training, tools, and enablers working in close partnership with internal stakeholders, particularly the commercial team, to deliver our value proposition to priority customer segments and key decision-makers.

•  Promoting the execution of Integrated Solutions & Cross-Selling approach across business lines, fostering cross-selling opportunities, particularly in areas such as Sepsis, AMR/AMSto position bioMérieux as a comprehensive partner.

• Value Extraction - Ensure the implementation of an optimized pricing strategy, business model, and access plan, supported by compelling value proofs to capture the value of our solutions in the region fully.

•  Collaboration with Medical Affairs - Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs to develop evidence that reinforces our value proposition and supports market access and adoption.

• Market Intelligence & Foresight - Monitor and communicate relevant market trends, competitive intelligence, and regulatory developments to both regional leadership and Global Functions, ensuring timely adaptation of strategy.

•  Product Lifecycle Management - Contribute to the success of new product introductions and end-of-life transitions by leading market analysis, segmentation, and piloting of Go-to-Market and Go-out-of-Market strategies.

•  Customer Experience and Engagement – lead the LATAM regional effort to foster a culture of continuous improvement focused on the customer’s experience with our products, our services and our solutions.

• Regional Centers of Expertise

•  Drive the development of Regional Centers of Expertise shared across Clinical and Industrial businesses. These centers will centralize strategic marketing capabilities—such as market and customer insights, marketing communications, digital, and analytics—and strengthen local team support.

• Franchise Leadership

• Lead the establishment of regional franchise leads as single points of contact for coordinating efforts between global, regional, and local teams, ensuring alignment and operational efficiency.

• Budget Ownership

•  Drive the marketing-led budget planning process by aligning market insights and strategic priorities to define the region’s total growth potential and resource allocation.

Studies & experiences: 

· Graduate degree in Science and/or Business/Marketing with more than 10 years’ experience in Marketing or Sales.

· Experience in a laboratory or hospital environment will be preferred

· Experience in Commercial or Marketing operations at the local level

Working Conditions: This role requires travel. 

Location: The position could be based in any subsidiary of Latin America, such as Brasil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Argentina.
