Mission
As part of the Benelux and Nordics Supply Chain team, based in Brussels, you will support logistics operations and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners such as DHL to optimise processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- DHL Operations Support
- Monitor inventory movements
- Oversee returns management and ensure timely resolution
- Handle IDoc processing and troubleshooting
- International Logistics (inbound)
- Support import operations from the US via air and sea freight (customs declaration)
- Local logistics and operations
- Support on local inventory (spare parts) management
- Reception/expedition
- Inventory
- Continuous Improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis using Six Sigma and/or 5 Whys methodologies
- Identify and implement process improvements across logistics workflows
- Support on analytics, reporting, KPIs
- Support analytics for review preparation and projects/process improvement
- Ad hoc reporting
Profile
- Bachelor or master degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity or interest with process improvement methods (ie Six Sigma, Lean, or other continuous improvement frameworks)
- Excellent communication skills in English; French and/or Dutch a plus
- Proactive, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Eligible to work in Belgium
