The Supply Chain Performance department is accountable, at corporate and local levels, for the robustness and efficiency of Supply processes. The department drives Supply Chain transformation  through a roadmap of projects worldwide, with the constant objective of improving customer satisfaction. The team is also accountable to document and share best practices, deliver and maintain the relevant KPIs to measure and improve the overall Supply Chain performance of the company.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Process Referent to join our Transportation and Distribution team. The ideal candidate will develop expertise in the implementation and optimization of logistics flows, analyzing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance in transportation and distribution operations.

What will be your mission in bioMérieux ?

  • Bring expertise to Transporation and distribution process, such as warehouse operations, transportation & distribution optimization, and system enhancement.
  • Document and Process creation, publish, update and training, to support implementation and adherence to new process.
  • Support supply chain projects and transversal topics. Interaction with cross function and IS, define business reqruipment, contribubute to process mapping&design, and ensure alignment with the global SC model. including logistics system interface and upgrate.
  • Lead and facilitate key partner network, including design, test, implement different enhancement. best practise sharing, support business on process topics, continuous improvement and roadmap achievement.

By developing a strong knowledge of these processes and the solutions supporting them, you are able to leverage users knowledge within the organization. You identify training needs, contribute to establish documentation, from process description & mapping to user instructions necessary to support it.

By doing so, you ensure proper usage of the systems, by understanding the underlying business processes. You apply this knowledge to solve problems, working closely with the IS team and Process Experts from other domains to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance system functionalities. You proactively propose opportunities to optimize the processes you are responsible for and you implement some of them in continuous improvement mode.

In an intensive context of transformation of the Supply Chain with a key objective to improve customer satisfaction, you collaborate with the different project leaders to bring your expertise as a support of the projects, mainly during the design, testing, and hypercare phases. This task will represent at least 50% of your workload, aside of community animation and continuous improvement tasks.

Exposed daily to a large international context, more than half your work exchanges are handled in English, oral and written.

Who are you ?

  • Master’s Degree ideally with specialization in supply chain or planning operation
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of operational experience as an actor or owner of Supply Chain processes in an international context.
  • You have good communication skills necessary to popularize and harmonize processes, reach consensus and propose innovative solutions.
  • You have a strong capacity of analysis and sense of support, you are comfortable with ERPs (ideally SAP is a plus) and IS systems in general.
  • Your English is fluent.
