Based in Craponne site, you will be integrated in the Supply and Demand management team part of the Global Supply Chain.
As a Brand Demand Manager for our Pharma Quality Control Business Unit, you will be critical in generating precise demand signals for our brands, working across Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to optimize forecasting and planning.
What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?
- Drive comprehensive and accurate demand forecasts by collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and external economic indicators to create precise demand predictions
- Monitor and track forecast accuracy, continuously improving forecasting methodologies
- Lead Brands S&OP process: Demand review > Supply Review > S&OP
- Develop scenarios to achieve optimal balance between On-Time In-Full (OTIF), cost and inventory levels.
- Provide S&OP guidelines to Inventory Manager on inventory policies, logistics, shelf life and allocations to increase customer OTIF, lower distribution costs and scrap risks, drives allocations and monitors promotion actions
- Develop and maintain statistical forecasting models using advanced analytics and forecasting software. Manage and maintain the demand planning database and forecasting tools (APO)
- Leads residual shelf-life (RSL) reviews and maintains the RSL promised by DC to subsidiaries in the information systems
- Prepare transition to Integrated Business Planning
Who are you?
- Master’s Degree, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in Demand Management or similar work experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects
- Experience in Life Sciences domain is an asset although not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical forecasting techniques
- Fluent in English
- Advanced Excel and BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Power Query)
- Statistical analysis tools and ERP systems
- Adaptable and proactive
- Detail-oriented
