The Supply Chain Performance Team is accountable for the robustness and efficiency of Supply Chain processes.
Positioned at the cross-roads of all its operations, we drive the transformation of bioMérieux’ Global Supply Chain organization through networks of key professionals and through a roadmap of projects and initiatives worldwide, with the constant objective of improving customer satisfaction, reaching operational excellence and supporting business development.
Our team is also in charge of gathering and developing, documenting and sharing best practices, and deliver the relevant KPIs to improve our overall performance.
We are actively looking for a Process Owner for Demand & Planning to support and improve with his/her team the following processes: forecasting & demand management, distribution requirements planning, inventory management, stock deployment, S&OP.
What will be your mission at bioMérieux ?
As the Business Process Owner for Demand & Planning, and leveraging on your team, you are responsible for the transformation and optimization of Supply Chain processes:
- Develop strategic plans and roadmaps in collaboration with key stakeholders to support long‑term Demand & Planning objectives. Drive the vision, ensuring it is clearly understood, visible across the organization, and fully aligned with other domain strategies to support Global Supply Chain and bioMérieux priorities and ambitions.
- Govern the project portfolio; ensure alignment of priorities, plans, resource allocation and expertise to deliver on business objectives—across value, timing and budget/effort—by working closely with the relevant leaders and stakeholders.
- Ensure that collaborative networks are active, efficient, and properly empowered to grow best practices, resolve issues, and drive continuous performance improvement across Demand & Planning processes and solutions.
- Ensure that the KPIs required to support the performance of the Demand & Planning processes are fit-for-purpose, shared and used by the Business actors.
- Maintain strong understanding and expertise in end‑to‑end Demand & Planning processes, stakes and challenges and continuously expand this knowledge through ongoing internal and external learning. Contribute to learning development within the Demand & Planning community and the wider Supply Chain. Assess the relevance of innovative opportunities and integrate the most valuable ones into the strategic plan.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with Demand & Planning senior management at global and local levels, with Information System teams and other departments to drive supply chain excellence and resource allocation towards strategic priorities.
- Co-manage supplier relationships for Demand & Planning solutions (with IS and Manufacturing), ensuring operational robustness, performance, and continuous improvement of key applications such as OMP, B2Wise, fluidE, and SAP IBP.
Who are you ?
- Holder of a Master's degree, you have at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain or in other functions with a strong exposure to Supply Chain activities
- You have a solid functional experience and advanced expertise on Supply Chain domains of Demand Management, Planning and/or S&OP, IBP and prior experience in managing team.
- You have proven experience in leading or contributing to transformation and change initiatives, with strong communication and leadership skills to drive harmonization, build consensus, and energize the Global Supply Chain network.
- You have a strong appetite for Demand & planning topics, practices, innovation and new tools, combined with a pragmatic and results-oriented mindset. You are able to envision strategic, long-term goals while also delivering practical, effective solutions in the short term. Your ability to navigate complex challenges and turn them into actionable solutions ensures success
- You are fluent in both English and French.
To accomplish your mission, you lead a team currently composed of 2 project managers and 3 Business Process Referents, to meet the transformation and continuous improvement ambitions. You may also collaborate with Project Managers from other teams involved in Demand & Planning initiatives. When needed, your team also supports other SC Performance domains by assessing project value, proposing innovative solutions, and contributing to the Global Supply Chain roadmap.
