Working with colleagues and stakeholders in France and other countries, you will support improvement projects while gaining hands-on exposure to day-to-day activities in Inventory Management (IM) and Brand Demand Management (BDM). Together with the team, you will help maintain target service levels while optimizing inventory, reducing waste, and improving cost efficiency across diverse markets and supply chain flows.

 Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to projects that reduce scrap, expiry risk, excess inventory, and product obsolescence.
  • Analyze inventory, scrap, and performance data to identify risks, root causes, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of action plans addressing key performance indicator deviations.
  • Manage product allocations and shelf-life constraints, and contribute to improving downstream distribution flows.
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of product line reviews, Demand Reviews, and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify or automate recurring reports, data preparation activities, and team processes.

Through this internship, you will contribute to tangible projects while supporting the management of multiple product lines with diverse supply chain flows, markets, and international stakeholders.

International exposure will be a central part of the experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in France, US and across bioMérieux’s global network, gaining insight into how supply chain decisions are coordinated across countries, markets, and functions. You will receive support and training to develop your knowledge of supply chain processes, project management, data analysis, SAP, and advanced planning tools such as OMP and APO.

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are comfortable working with data. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Tableau, SAP, and Lean management tools would be an advantage. The ability to code and work comfortably with AI tools, a plus.

You are curious, proactive,  organized, and you enjoy working with colleagues from different countries, functions, and cultural backgrounds in an international team environment.

You can work independently, take initiative, and follow projects through to completion.

You can translate complex information into clear, concise, and compelling messages for different audiences.
