Accounts Payable/Receivable - Support or Operational

Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:

We are looking for a motivated professional to support our General Ledger & Reporting/ AR and Accounts Payable processes, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and delivering accurate financial reporting. 

We are opening a new SSC in Cairo – Egypt, the Candidate will be reporting to Manager located in SSC - Poland

Main Accountabilities:

• Perform GL (cash, inventory, provision calculation, end to end closing activities, fixed assets and intercompany).
• Perform AR (Customer account reconciliations).
• Perform AP accounting activities (manage vendor invoices, Travel Expenses, payments, and bank reconciliations), including transaction posting, reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports in corporate tools.
• Collaborate with local subsidiaries (in Africa) and resolve operational issues.
• Contribute to process improvements and participate in transition project (launching new SSC location).

Experience and qualification:

• Knowledge of: English for communication between entities, Arabic – enabling reading and understanding documents
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting.
• Advanced knowledge in SAP/ERP and MS Office.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in continuous improvements – standardization.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility in working hours (Monday – Friday. Friday’s only during closing period).
