BIOMERIEUX Egypt Subsidiary is currently looking for “Field Application Specialist” to coordinate and provide technical ongoing support to bioMérieux systems and reagents : pre-installation, technical installation, configurations, connections, training on customer site. Guide or coach other professionals. Position holder will report directly to Customer Service Manager - Egypt
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Answer internal and external customer inquiries according to established standards and ensure documentation in our systems ; consulting as appropriate with Application Specialists Network, System Engineers, Management, Global Customer Support and Customer Complaint Management Center, being the interface between customers, Quality & Regulatory Affairs Managers ensuring the follow up and documentation of these processes.
- Perform application aspect maintenance (e.g fine tuning) according to key customer requests
- Perform corrective maintenance visit dispatched by Support Center in timely manner
- Coordinate and provide consulting, technical training and on-going support on bioMérieux solutions
- Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet KPI
- Make organizational recommendations around the equipment in order to optimize the workflow, address three dimensions: technical, quality and productivity
- Ability to perform routine training
- Promote bioMérieux solutions demonstration, evaluations, onsite visits on post sales
- Enable bioMérieux customer in fully utilizing the technical potential of the solutions (interpretation of results, specimen management, workflow optimization.)
- Demonstrate a technical expertise which allows to easily take in charge new products and new technologies
- Provide mentoring, coaching, advanced training, certification and support bioMérieux product lines.
- Act as a technical pillar for subsidiary
- Recognized expertise on the market, ability to interact with KOL
- Contribute to project related to her/his field of expertise
- Develop Summer interns with required junior application specialist's capability and design the career pathway training .
Other tasks as defined in related company procedure, or assigned by the direct Manager.
Knowledge, Language and Experience:
- Bachelors or master degree in technical or life science field, Medical Technology and Molecular Biology or Clinical Microbiology
- above 5 years of experience in Customer Service, Sales, Application and Training operations
- Ability to communicate detailed technical information clearly and simply is a distinct advantage in training others
- Knowledge of instrumentation and an aptitude for identifying and rectifying faults of a complex and application nature
- Key contributor for service offer and deployment, with clear understanding of the workflow at customer lab, having a broader vision of the solution proposed to the lab
- Fluent English level especially reading
- Customer and solution oriented
- Training and coaching capabilities
- Organized, rigorous and autonomous
- Good communication and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Master CRM (reporting and dashboard)
