Supply Chain Logistic Referent
BIOMERIEUX Egypt is recruiting for Supply Chain Logistics Referent who will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining accurate supply chain data. The role supports operational excellence by collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inbound Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate and monitor all inbound activities including order placement, shipment tracking, and customs clearance.
- Liaise with other international teams (e.g., France team) to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Investigate and resolve inbound discrepancies or delays.
- Create, update, and maintain product master data in relevant systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in coordination with the Supply Chain Manager.
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain inventory reports (e.g., stock accuracy, reconciliation).
- Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate inbound reverse logistics processes including returns, repairs, credits, and complaints.
- Investigate issues and ensure proper resolution within agreed timelines.
- Conduct daily monitoring and control of inbound and outbound orders to ensure system accuracy.
- Organize and oversee deliveries to end customers.
- Ensure efficient outbound operations and on-time delivery performance.
- Support customer supply activities and address delivery-related issues.
- Verify and validate logistics-related invoices.
- Ensure cost accuracy and alignment with agreed contracts.
- Act as a key point of contact for logistics coordination and issue resolution.
- Monitor and report CO₂ emissions related to logistics activities.
- Support initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact within the supply chain.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics and inventory management.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
- Good understanding of customs procedures and international shipping.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
