We are pleased to open a new opportunity for an Account Manager to support our Food business across all 32 counties of Ireland. In this role, you will drive commercial growth, strengthen key customer relationships, and bring our sales and marketing strategy to life. The position involves regular travel throughout Ireland and close collaboration with clients in the food industry, with experience in the dairy sector considered a strong advantage.
What will be your responsibilities at bioMérieux?
- Promote the value of bioMérieux products through customer meetings according to the Sales & Marketing strategy
- Organise, support and attend Marketing events within the cluster.
- Participate and implement projects by coordinating with team members, including both Sales, Application Specialists and Service Engineers to pursue the short-term Sales Target and the long-term Company Strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and influencers within the territory by regular contact (face to face and digital virtual calls) to facilitate sales and widen the commercial network.
- Actively gather and report market data and trends / changes in markets that may affect the performance of the Industry Division.
- Become proficient in the use of the provided business tools including but not limited to; CRM, Quotation Tool, Excel, Teleconference platform.
- Assist in the production of all quotations and tenders relating to the relevant product group in line with company pricing strategy and mindful of any Purchasing Hub agreements.
- Respond to quote / tender requests complying to the current commercial policy.
Who are you?
We’re seeking someone with strong insight into the food industry, ideally with direct experience in the dairy sector, who’s eager to make an impact in a dynamic commercial role. A background in science or business is valuable, and experience in sales, laboratory work, or quality environments will help you succeed. If you understand how food producers operate and can turn their challenges into meaningful conversations, you’ll thrive here. Curiosity, commercial drive, confidence with CRM and sales tools, and the ability to build trusted customer relationships across Ireland are key to excelling in this role.
