CUSTOMER SUPPLY REPRESENTATIVE
Primary purpose and overall objective of the job
The Customer Supply Representative is responsible for ensuring that we deliver our customers (hospitals, laboratories, industrials) on-time and in-full, matching also any specific need they may have related to their orders.
Main accountabilities
More specifically, you will contribute to the following topics:
- Customer orders efficient management:
After orders are registered by our Shared Service Center, you will make sure all unclear/rejected orders are corrected, by interacting with other internal departments, and customers
In case of specific wish from the customer related to its order, you will make sure we are able to meet this promise and will do the necessary corrections to process the order correctly
In case of issues on the chain, you mitigate impacts to customers, by finding solutions and coordinating other functions like Sales, Marketing, and Finance
- Customer calls and mails management:
Ensure customer relationship by phone or e-mails in a timely and accurate manner bringing support and solutions when required, on their questions related to their orders and deliveries.
- Customer complaints:
You will be in charge of registering the complaints in our system (SAP), using dedicated templates
For each issue, you will identify a corrective action for quick and efficient mitigation action to answer customer’s needs
For each complaint, you will perform investigations with the customer, the carrier, and the warehouse, to identify the root cause of the issue and ensure corrections are made when applicable
Overall management of credit notes in relation to Supply Chain area
- Performance indicators:
You will support the collection and compilation of some Key Performance indicators, on a monthly basis, especially regarding the progress on the main transformation projects (orders and packing optimization)
- Continuous improvement initiative to constantly improve the reliability and quality of our customer promise
By participating in meetings to implement new processes or solve recurring issues.
By generating ideas, analyze and elaborate action plan on all subjects that can improve day to day process and activity
Anticipate changes / non-routine events and coordinate the team members to efficiently address novelties
Education/background
3.1 Studies
- An economic or scientific degree is required
3.2 Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong sense of accountability
- Ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time.
- Ability to work under pressure, in a quick and demanding environment
- Strong customer service mindset : customer-satisfaction driven
- Collaborative. Able and keen to work within a team
Experience
- A previous experience in customer service, or in a customer-facing position is required
Hard skills/language
- English fluent, Italian mother tongue
- Tools: Excellent knowledge of Outlook or equivalent mailbox. Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Knowledge of SAP is a significant plus for the position.
