Electronic FW Designer
FW designer will work inside the Electronic HW/FW Design department; he/she will be involved in FW design and verification activities for the development of new products and for the maintenance of launched products. FW designer has to write code mainly using C++ and C languages, debug and verify the code itself according to the company design control procedures. FW designer will contribute to the selection of FW/HW architectural solutions.
MAJOR TASKS
- Design of FW for embedded real time systems
- Contribution to the architecture definition for new instruments
- Feasibility activities for new applications
- FW verification activitiesReleasing of design documentation
- Management of external partnersTeamwork
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
- University degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Experience in Firmware development using C++
- Debugging on real hardwareKnowledge of SW Life Cycle Management
- Knowledge of English language
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in real-time embedded development is considered a plus
- Experience in Linux for embedded is considered a plus
- Knowledge of REST API communication interface is considered a plus
- Knowledge of bus/communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, ETH, USB is considered a plus
- Experience with SW versioning tools such as GIT is considered a plus
- Experience in SW development using C or Java is considered a plus
- Knowledge of Design Control for In Vitro Diagnostic is considered a plus
- Experience in SW development using Python and Visual Studio / QT creator are appreciatedExperience in modelling and simulation environment using Matlab or LabView are appreciated
- Experience in Hardware development is considered a plus
