We are searching for a
Field Application Specialist (m/f/d)
for our clinical business unit, with a focus on microbiological and molecular biological infection diagnostics.
Region: DACH with a focus on Switzerland
What are your responsibilities?

You will advise and support customers on-site, conduct customer training sessions, and serve as the primary contact for all application-related queries.

You will implement, configure, and update our systems and assist in adapting customer laboratory routines to new processes.

In case of issues or error messages, you will use your knowledge, experience, and network of colleagues to resolve them as quickly as possible (i.e. troubleshooting).

You will work closely with the Sales, Technical, and other internal departments.
Who are you?
-
You have in-depth knowledge in microbiology and/or molecular biology.

You hold a degree as a Biomedical Analyst, Biological Laboratory Technician, or in Biology, Medicine (human/veterinary), or Diagnostics.

You have experience working in a diagnostic laboratory, ideally with bioMérieux equipment.

You can quickly learn new software and ideally have basic knowledge of networking technologies.

Empathy, a confident presence, and strong communication skills make a strong networker.

You can plan your work independently and responsibly.

You are fluent in English and able to follow English-language training; daily customer communication is in German and/or French, and Italian is a plus for our clients in Ticino (native-level proficiency in German or French required).

A valid driver’s license is required.

Field service experience is an advantage but not a must.
