What are your main accountabilities?
We are looking for a System Architect to define the architecture of an innovative system in the field of in vitro diagnostics, based on sequencing technology. You will be responsible for defining the overall system structure, integrating hardware, firmware, software, biological reagents, data flows, and interfaces to ensure performance, regulatory compliance, and robustness of the solution.
Your main responsibilities :
- In line with product requirements, define the system architecture and allocation matrix by decomposing and assigning system functions and performance to subsystems, and defining interfaces between these entities. Ensure traceability of architecture-related decisions.
- Identify technical constraints and ensure subsystem compatibility.
- Collaborate with the various disciplines involved to contribute to system feasibility plans.
- Contribute to product risk analysis.
- Participate in defining the strategy and plans for system verification and validation.
- Drive design changes when necessary.
- Contribute to the community of system architects within bioMérieux and promote best practices in systems engineering.
What is your profile ?
- Engineering degree or equivalent in electronics, embedded systems, or biomedical engineering, with proven experience in system architecture for medical devices or complex systems, ideally in in vitro diagnostics.
- Skills in system modeling (SysML, UML) and architecture tools (Enterprise Architect).
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills in a multicultural, multidisciplinary, and international environment. Ability to work with external partners.
