Junior Software Tech Lead

Your missions

You will join the R&D System Development division, made up of around 250 people, whose mission is to design, develop, and provide support for commercial systems. More specifically, you will be part of the IT Solution – Remote Services department, which is responsible for IoT solutions supporting our product ranges.

You will work within a team of about twenty people, in an international environment and follow Agile methodologies (mainly Scrum & Kanban).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining software solutions
• Designing reusable and large-scale deployable components
• Optimizing and industrializing code to facilitate deployments
• Monitoring the development team’s activities
• Contributing to the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD processes
• Participating in solution design and supporting the technical team
• Contributing to the writing of technical documentation (Specifications, Release Notes, etc.)
• Ensuring the performance, quality, maintainability, and support of applications.

Our solutions are primarily Cloud-based (AWS/Azure/Aliyun) and rely on a wide range of technical stacks:

• Application architectures: microservices / monolithic / IoT
• Cloud technologies:
• AWS: S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, Terraform, etc.
• Azure: Kubernetes, Resource Groups, Key Vaults, etc.
• Aliyun: Kubernetes
• DevOps: GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Terraform
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages (Angular, React, Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus
• Tools: Visual Studio Code, Git/GitLab (CI, runners, etc.), Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenLens, Dynatrace, Grafana, Maven, Robot Framework
• Environments: Windows / Linux

Your profile

You hold an engineering degree or a master’s degree in software development, with at least 2 years of experience. You are versatile and eager to work across all technical layers. You are comfortable working in an Agile environment and ideally have experience with IoT technologies (preferably PTC ThingWorx).

The position is based on the La Balme-les-Grottes site, with the possibility of remote work.
Carpooling from Lyon is available.
