As Clinical Education Manager (Madrid), reporting to the Clinical Education Manager Head, you will act as a clinical resource to demonstrate and promote the clinical value of our products and solutions to physicians & other healthcare providers by supporting their implementation within the hospital or healthcare environment in order to improve patient outcomes, provide real-world evidence, educate, and promote demand & prescription.

 

What will be your missions:

  • Support the commercialization of diagnostic tests and solutions, actively contributing to achieving company sales goals by providing the clinical expertise necessary to promote their adoption and usage, in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams. This will be achieved through field visits to healthcare professionals in hospital settings, either independently or in coordination with Account Managers, engaging with both clinicians and laboratory personnel in specialties such as Intensive Care Units (ICU), Infectious Diseases, and Pediatrics. These visits will focus on bioMérieux solutions, providing clinical education, implementation support, and promoting its value in diagnostic workflows.
  • Build strong relationships within hospital environments by mapping organizational structures, identifying key clinical stakeholders, and establishing effective engagement strategies. This includes proactively connecting with clinicians across departments to foster collaboration and support the integration of diagnostic solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers to define and execute a strategic business approach, identifying key accounts and developing a structured visit plan. This includes aligning clinical education efforts with commercial objectives, prioritizing high-impact opportunities, and ensuring consistent follow-up with key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively in the implementation of standardized usage protocols for bioMérieux solutions, in collaboration with Medical Affairs department, to ensure optimal integration into diagnostic workflows and alignment with best practices.
  • Deliver in-depth clinical presentations in relevant hospital departments and at key medical events. These sessions are tailored to the audience—whether clinicians or laboratory personnel—and may be conducted independently or in collaboration with the Medical Affairs department.
  • Participate in local, regional and national educational and promotional initiatives, including trade shows, congresses, symposia, and other medical events.
  • Stay informed and ensure compliance with the company’s Quality and Health & Safety policies.

 

Who are you?

  • Background in Life or Health Sciences or proven experience as a hospital medical representative for at least 5 years.
  • Demonstrated experience in field visits, preferably in Intensive Care Units (ICU), Infectious Diseases, and Pediatrics.
  • Experience in promoting next-generation antibiotics is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of clinical molecular biology techniques is a plus.
  • Proven ability to navigate the healthcare environment, leveraging medical expertise and commercial acumen to influence key hospital stakeholders—including physicians, laboratory professionals, and infection control teams—while supporting the sales team and maintaining a strong network of clinicians.
  • Demonstrates a strong focus on customer and patient needs, works effectively in cross-functional teams, and excels in planning and executing structured activities.
  • Language proficiency: Native Spanish speaker with a high level of English.
  • This role requires frequent travel across the assigned geographical area: Southern Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Andalucia, Murcia, and the Canary Islands, with approximately 60% of the time involving overnight stays away from home.
