Reporting to the Clinical Education Manager Head, as Clinical Education Manager you will act as a clinical resource to demonstrate and promote the clinical value of our products and solutions to physicians & other healthcare providers by supporting their implementation within the hospital or healthcare environment in order to improve patient outcomes, provide real-world evidence, educate, and promote demand & prescription

 

What will be your missions at bioMérieux?

  • Support the commercialization of diagnostic tests and solutions, actively contributing to achieving company sales goals by providing the clinical expertise necessary to promote their adoption and usage, in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Demonstrate the clinical and economic value of our high medical value products and solutions by educating physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, and other healthcare professionals, as well as delivering clinical presentations in relevant hospital departments and at key medical events.
  • Promote bioMérieux products and services through product demonstrations, evaluations, and site visits.
  • Assist laboratories in implementing our products, tests, and solutions into daily patient care routines, and in developing best practices and protocols to maximize product utility.
  • Enable customers to fully leverage the clinical potential of our products, and identify and develop clinical case studies.
  • Contribute to field-based activities by sharing clinical knowledge with the bioMérieux team: provide internal training, report on customer satisfaction and needs, identify market trends, support new revenue opportunities, assist in executing retention plans for critical accounts, coordinate with Application Specialists to troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with marketing and medical advisors.
  • Support the development of a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) network among clinicians, laboratory professionals, and healthcare administrators to strengthen relationships and foster cross-selling opportunities for bioMérieux products and services.
  • Participate in local, regional, and national educational and promotional initiatives, including trade shows, congresses, symposia, and other medical events.
  • Assist with the operational aspects of clinical studies that demonstrate the value of our products and solutions through real-world evidence.
  • Stay informed and ensure compliance with the company’s Quality and Health & Safety policies.

 

Who you are:

  • Higher education in Life Sciences or Medicine is required (e.g., Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry). Clinical molecular biology techniques and medical knowledge are considered a strong plus.
  • Well-established network of clinicians, preferably in the fields of Intensive Care, Infectious Diseases, and Pediatrics.
  • Solid experience in field visits to healthcare professionals.
  • Proven ability to leverage medical knowledge and sales skills to effectively convince physicians, laboratory professionals, infection control teams, and other hospital staff of the clinical value of the products offered.
  • Demonstrated experience in a consulting or sales role, capable of transferring knowledge to the sales team and motivating them to promote assigned products.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Emotionally intelligent, flexible, team-oriented, with analytical thinking, customer focus, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Language proficiency: Native Spanish speaker with a high level of English.
  • This role requires frequent travel (approximately 60% of the time) across the assigned geographical area: Southern Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Andalucia, Murcia, and the Canary Islands.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare environment, with a dynamic approach and a well-established network of clinicians. Proven background in both scientific and sales domains.
