As Iberia Field Application Specialist reporting to the Iberia Industry Application Specialist Manager, you will provide technical support, customer training, troubleshooting and consultation to internal and external customers for the implementation and maintenance of bioMérieux solutions. Moreover you will coordinate efforts with other cross-functional departments to deliver world-class customer service and support through the promotion of teamwork and cooperation spirit.

What will be your mission?

• Coordinate and provide technical training, consultation and support of bioMérieux´s systems and reagents: pre-installation, technical installation, configurations, connections, operational qualifications, training and troubleshooting.
• Answer internal and external customer inquiries and ensure regulatory compliance through timely and accurate records in CRM system.
• Provides consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet key performance indicators(KPIs).
• Participate in revenue generation initiatives and detection of opportunities through promotion of value added products and services.
• Retain current customer business, by developing and building customer relationships  that result in customer loyalty, retention, renewal and positive referrals
• Comply with quality, legal and ethical standards as well as company policies, being the interface between customers, Quality & Regulatory Affairs Department and other departments.

Who are you?

• Life Science Degree (or equivalent experience)
• Specialization in Food Microbiology and experience working in a food environment
• Knowledge in Food business quality standards and regulation
• Knowledge in Molecular Biology will be a plus
• Communication, teaching and training skills
• Customer and solution oriented
• Ability to manage critical and situations problems efficiently in remotely
• Autonomy, agility and teamwork
• Computer skills
• Travel availability: minimum 35%
• English fluency required, Portuguese language is a plus

*Role based in Madrid with availability to travel throughout the Iberian peninsula and abroad for training or specific projects.
