What will be your accountabilities?

 

You will lead the development and execution of sales training programs tailored to regional and local teams. Emphasizing a "train-the-trainer" model, this role aims to enhance the skills of sales teams and sales managers to ensure widespread adoption within commercial teams. You will collaborate with regional Commercial Excellence partners to identify training needs and deploy targeted programs that elevate sales team performance, covering areas such as strategic selling, account and opportunity management, and sales coaching.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Approach Deployment: Promote the implementation of the strategic sales approach and account leadership methodology, utilizing Korn Ferry certification
  • Program Development and Deployment: Lead the design and deployment of sales training programs that meet the expectations of direct and distribution markets. Ensure relevant adaptations to meet the needs of clinical and industrial diagnostic teams
  • Collaboration for Optimization: Work closely with CRM teams to maximize the use of CRM and CPQ tools, ensuring streamlined account and opportunity management. Create and deploy training to ensure better use of CRM in opportunity management, funnel management, and sales performance
  • Program Deployment Planning: For each training program, prepare detailed deployment plans and establish KPIs to measure engagement and impact, in collaboration with regional Commercial Excellence managers
  • Skills Assessment and Recommendations: Develop and implement assessments to evaluate the skills of sales teams and provide tailored training recommendations
  • Information Gathering and Improvement: Conduct regular follow-ups to gather information on the effectiveness of training and the relevance of tools, analyze feedback to propose updates or improvements as necessary.

 

 

 

What is your profile ?

 

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience in sales or sales team management
  • Experience in in vitro diagnostics and its applications in pharma or food industries, or in the life sciences field (pharma, biotech, etc.)
  • Prior experience in delivering training is essential
    • Mastery of the Following Methods and Practices: Sales techniques, negotiation / Experience with Korn Ferry/Miller Heiman for opportunity and key account management / Certification in these methodologies is a plus, as well as experience and certification in coaching
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (at least PPT) and CRM systems (particularly Salesforce)
  • Experience in management or sales in a regional or global role within an international company is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English; proficiency in a second European language is an advantage
  • Interpersonal Skills: Communication, initiative, adaptability, analytical thinking
  • Works effectively within diverse teams and functions, fostering team spirit and open communication.
  • Able to persuade and motivate stakeholders at all levels, fostering engagement and buy-in for training initiatives.
