As a key member of the Commercial Capabilities Team, the Leader Commercial training is responsible for the development and the deployment of commercial training to Local/regional Teams with a Train the trainer approach, in collaboration with Global Marketing. He/She is responsible to identify the needs with Regional Commercial Teams, for specific and relevant trainings and tools which will strengthen our commercial team performances. The Value-Based Training programs must cover the entire sales process from the discovery phase to closing for direct and indirect sales, to promote the value of our offer to each buying influence. To ensure the knowledge sustainability, he/she will deploy the trainings with a train the trainer’s approach and follow-up the local deployment by a strong trainer’s network. The Leader Commercial Training will always stay at the forefront of learning methods and technologies and propose innovative pedagogic approaches to keep the learners engaged.
Reporting to the VP Commercial Capabilities, we are looking for our Leader Commercial Training.
What will be your responsibilities:
- Support actively the new product launches by deploying on time impactful Value Training Packages, creating strong links with the other Global functions, including Marketing, to ensure an optimal and seamless support to regions to pitch the value of our offer and impact our business objectives.
- Co-Lead the development and deployment of specific programs of Value-Based & Sales Capabilities training to match with the Direct Market and Distribution Market expectations (adaptation required).
- Support the development and deployment of specific programs of commercial training for Industry Market.
- Commercial training programs should provide the sales teams with end-to-end solutions enhancing both knowledge and skills and fostering adoption of commercial tools, like CRM.
- For each program contribute to prepare a roll-out plan and KPIs to follow the use and impact, in close collaboration with the Regional Commercial Performance Leaders
- Develop and deploy sales readiness assessments to check the knowledge and skills of the commercial teams and give appropriate training recommendations.
- Organize regular follow-up to collect insights on training and tools needs as well as existing material relevance and adoption. Based on insights analysis, request for updates/improvements when needed
- Work in project team with clinical and industry functions to develop, deploy and maintain content and structures of relevant training curricula with different levels of expertise for the commercial team functions into the appropriate marketing, sales and/or customer service academy.
Who are you ?
Post-graduate degree in Business/Marketing mandatory, with “Scientific, technical, Clinical” background, you have minimum 10 years’ experience in sales or marketing functions.
Your experience brings you a strong business and customer centricity mindset and you show a deep understanding of the Iindustrial applications VD market & trends, challenges, and competition landscape.
You’ve worked in international environment with intercultural transversal management.
Experience in pedagogy and coaching would be appreciated. If not, you should demonstrate a strong appetite for knowledge and skills transmissions and be curious of pedagogic approaches.
You show excellent communication skills: clear, concise, and specific.
You can handle priorities and deliver commitments on time (result and progress oriented), and up to the expected standard to help the entire team achieve the objectives.
You show team spirit with the ability to work in a matrix organization and you always understand the groups dynamic.
You are source of initiative with a “what if attitude” and the desire to learn.
