What is your main mission?
- Lead the Cluster and establish an efficient functional structure for clinical operations in Middle East region, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Russia and good coordination with Industry.
- Develop & follow a commercial strategy with Direct and Indirect models – short-term (1 year), middle-term (3 years), long term (>5years) – in agreement with EMEA region general strategy and objectives, cascading the group strategy into the cluster plan.
- Manage and boost the distributors performance (23 countries). Continuously drives strategies and tactics in such a way it provides optimal financial return.
What are your main accountabilities?
- Develops a commercial strategy for METER considering the market specificities and constraints.
- Creates strong business partnership and challenges the distributors business models & organizations to support our Cluster Growth ambition.
- Directly manages the business activities of the region, empowering their team to drive exceptional performance.
- Harmonizes practices and optimizes resources allocation among countries. Develops autonomy of the local level.
- Manages functionally the support Function: Finance, Quality, HR, Supply chain, Legal, Compliance etc.
- Builds the sales budgets & targets in close coordination with regional and global Marketing team. Ensures monitoring of targets achievements by countries and a profitable growth. Maximizes the product portfolio and the balanced growth for all countries and all subsidiaries.
- Ensures feedback on countries local action plans to regional/global marketing, provide inputs to adjust global marketing strategy (market knowledge, business development orientations…).
- Ensures the application of the company’s quality system and its improvement. Provides guidelines and means necessary for its future evolution according to new norms.
- Guarantees the compliance of our products & operations (with corporate goals and policies, but also with local legislations) and the respect of regulations, before the launch on the market, of these ones (regulatory affairs)
- Ensures a full responsibility in case of quality or regulation problems and personally makes sure of the respect of the rules.
Who are you?
Studies-Experience: High degree in management, business/administration and/or life science. Operational sales or marketing experience. 15 years of International Experience in Dynamics Markets, minimum 10 years in a Country General Manager role; Demonstrate intercultural understanding and appreciation of diversity.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Leadership, managerial capacities, and people development; Direct and Indirect teams (manager of managers) and strong multicultural competencies
- Strong capacity to adapt, to negotiate; Ability to manage transversally, to initiate and promote changes, to be resilient in a VUCA environment (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous).
- High personal ethic& compliance standard and ability to manage crisis.
- Knowledge of the IVD market clinical and/or industry (food, pharma, vet) + knowledge of the products of the company and the major competitors and experience in distribution channel management
- Strong customers and patients focus.
- Knowledge of requests in term of regulatory affairs (various Ministries of Health), successful experience in building relations with Health Authorities and Industry association bodies
