What is your mission at bioMérieux?

As part of the Global Medical Affairs department, you will contribute to the implementation and monitoring of all aspects of research studies on clinical utility and healthcare economics for molecular diagnostic products.

To achieve this, you will carry out the following tasks:

  • As your mission progresses and you gain experience, you will take responsibility for all or part of a study (site selection and qualification, contract negotiation, study design, writing of plans and trial protocols, implementation, organizing site training),
  • Archive identified documents (protocols and various study follow-up documents, literature searches, articles, etc.),
  • Conduct literature reviews and analyze medical guidelines and scientific articles in the field covered by diagnostic tests,
  • Participate in organizing and facilitating internal medical training and presenting results/studies,

In order to successfully complete your mission, you will need to collaborate with key departments at the headquarters (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Grant Office, and Market Access), as well as with Medical Advisors and MSLs from various countries, and with the US Medical Affairs teams during conference calls on the progress of international projects.

You will also support the team in managing the study portfolio (budgetary aspects and communication). Continuous improvement activities aimed at structuring the current organization will also be expected during your apprenticeship.

Who are you?

  • You are preparing for a Master's degree (level Bac+5), specializing in Clinical Research or Medical Affairs,
  • You have solid scientific knowledge, ideally in Infectious Diseases and/or Molecular Biology,
  • Scientific rigor, critical reading of scientific articles, and strong analytical and synthesis abilities are your strengths,
