We are looking for a Global Clinical Application Specialist who will work and grow within the Global Customer Service department (Molecular Franchise – BIOFIRE SPOTFIRE range of product) and will report to the Sr. Manager of this department, within a team of 8 co-workers.

What will be your mission at bioMérieux ?

As a Global Clinical Applications Specialist for the BIOFIRE® product range, you are responsible for the end-to-end product ownership across the entire lifecycle, from product launch to obsolescence. You ensure effective technical support, timely resolution of field issues, and continuous improvement of product performance in the field.

You are actively involved in technical support activities, complaint management, and technical investigation leadership, while also supporting and coaching local and regional teams.

You work in close cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Vigilance teams to define and deploy the service strategy and support the strategic priorities of the BIOFIRE® products.

  • Manage technical support requests and customer complaints from subsidiaries and distributors.
  • Coordinate technical investigations with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
  • Promote proactive troubleshooting and provide technical coaching to local and regional support teams.
  • Contribute to Field Actions, audits, CAPA activities, and the monitoring of field service KPIs.
  • Represent the technical and clinical voice of the field to influence product decisions from market entry through end-of-life.
  • Contribute to product launches, Go-To-Market strategy, hypercare phases, and obsolescence management.
  • Lead and deploy service deliverables (documentation, support readiness, service preparation) in alignment with Marketing, Training, and Global Operations.
  • Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives based on field trend analysis.

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a biological science or other related field. 
  • 4+ years of relevant laboratory and/or industry experience
    • Clinical laboratory experience Molecular Biology experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience. 
  • Advanced IT skills, Networking and LIS/LIMS experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of bioMérieux products and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluent in English.
