What will be your responsabilities?
The Global Support Functions Controller is the Finance Business Partner supporting several functions / Management Units: People & Culture (HR), Finance, Legal Corporate Integrity & Public Affairs and Chairman/CEO Office. The main responsibility will be to lead the performance monitoring and Budget process for those functions.
Your missions:
- Lead local monthly closing activities (accruals, Group & non-Group reinvoicing…), then build and consolidate the monthly dashboard with insights and comments to support meaningful discussions, decision-making and remove complexity to deliver key & simple messages (monthly meeting with HR / Finance / Legal EVPs and quarterly with CEO).
- Budget control via expenditure authorization (mainly OPEX) and monitoring of commitments. Ensure that the financial rules and procedures defined by Group Internal Control are fully applied and compliant.
- Lead the FP&A process (Budget and Quarterly Forecast) of the 4 functions by collecting, consolidating, challenging and reviewing data with the Target Owners & respective Local / Regional controllers and respective HRBP to build and monitor Employees costs. Ensure the full process respects Group deadlines.
- Participation to CEO Budget Reviews, Excom QBRs to present financial updates for the Support Functions scope (twice a year for HR / Finance / Legal).
- Participation to Leadership Team meetings to share insights on performance monitoring, update on a dedicated project or share key information about Budget Process (next steps, deliverables, timeline…)
- Contribution in G028 initiatives or specific committee (Philanthropy committee in France)
- Lead and drive continuous improvement in all areas of controlling identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains, contribute to the evolution of the dashboards to be aligned with business partners needs/priorities and be proactive on ad-hoc analysis.
Who are you?
- Master’s degree in Finance / Controlling / Audit
- Minimum 6 years of Controlling experience
- Strong analytical / synthesis skills with ability to prepare and present financial data in a clear, transparent and simpler manner by removing complexity
- Curious, proactive, assertive, strong communication & influencing skills
- Work cross functionally and across geographies
- Expert user of Office tools (Excel, Power Point) is imperative as well as knowledge of SAP
- Fluent English (both verbally and in writing)
