The Global Medical Affairs Intern will support the medical team in scientific and strategic projects covering multiple diagnostic product lines. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Global Medical Affairs function, positioned at the intersection of science, clinical practice, and strategy in a leading in vitro diagnostics company. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical Affairs, R&D, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, etc.) to contribute to medical education, clinical evidence generation, and communication initiatives supporting innovative diagnostic solutions.
Your mission at bioMérieux ?
Under the supervision of a Scientist or a Medical Affairs Manager, the intern will:
- Support the preparation of medical and scientific materials (e.g., slide decks, literature summaries, training materials).
- Assist in collecting and analyzing medical insights from internal and external sources to inform medical strategy.
- Support external insight gathering activities, including congress, KOL interaction and publication scientific advisory boards.
- Participate in literature reviews, competitor monitoring, and data interpretation
- Contribute to educational initiatives for internal teams or healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure scientific consistency and alignment across projects.
Who are you?

A student in Pharmacy (PharmD) or Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field).

A Master’s degree from a business school combined with a scientific background (PharmD or Life Sciences) is also acceptable.
- Strong scientific and analytical mindset with interest in clinical diagnostics.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

Curiosity, critical thinking, and ability to synthesize complex scientific information.

Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Eligible for an internship starting in January 2026.
