What will your responsibilities be?
As part of the Global Market Access team, you will define and lead global market access strategies to support the coverage and reimbursement of bioMérieux’s innovative diagnostic solutions. You will be involved from the earliest stages of product development to ensure solutions are designed to meet the expectations of payers and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies.
Working closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, R&D, and local Market Access teams, you will develop reimbursement strategies, anticipate evidence generation needs (HEOR, RWE), and contribute to the optimal positioning of products for launch and adoption across markets.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Market Access Strategy & Product Development
- Assess reimbursement potential for new products from the early stages of development.
- Identify product attributes that support payer adoption and market uptake.
- Define requirements for clinical, health economic, and real-world evidence (HEOR, RWE).
- Contribute to evidence generation strategies and reimbursement pathway scenarios.
- Represent the Market Access function within cross-functional project teams.
Global Strategy
- Develop and lead global initiatives that impact product coverage and reimbursement.
- Monitor changes in reimbursement systems, HTA frameworks, and healthcare policies.
- Collaborate with local teams to optimize market access and reimbursement conditions across countries.
- Define target populations, evidence requirements, and pricing recommendations.
Community Engagement
- Build and lead an international community of practice.
- Support local Market Access teams.
Innovation & Expertise
- Monitor regulatory, methodological, and economic developments in the healthcare sector and promote innovative approaches that strengthen the value proposition and reimbursement of diagnostic solutions.
Who are you?
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Health Economics, or a related field. A PhD or MBA is a plus.
- Significant experience in Market Access, Health Economics, or reimbursement of medical technologies, ideally within diagnostics or medical devices.
- Strong knowledge of international coverage and reimbursement systems (HTA, DRG, FFS, etc.).
- Proven experience working in an international environment and leading through influence in a matrix organization.
- Excellent influencing, communication, and collaboration skills.
International travel: approximately 25% of working time. Flexibility in working hours is required to interact with global stakeholders.
