We are looking for a Medical Communication Specialist who will integrate our Global Medical Education & Communication team, in Marcy l'étoile, and will work in a cross-functional environment and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
As a Medical Communication Specialist, you will actively contribute to the development of medical communication plans and lead the creation and deployment of communication initiatives for both internal and external audiences, using the most relevant formats and channels.
You will represent the department in strategic projects with Corporate and Marketing Communication departments, such as World Health Days, and serve as the communication lead within the team. Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a highly matrixed environment.

What will your responsibilities be at bioMérieux?
- Design and implement high-quality medical communication to support medical education activities, enhancing their visibility and adoption both internally and externally,
- Play an active role in shaping and implementing the medical communication strategy for disseminating and leveraging new publications,
- Increase the visibility of medical education & scientific evidence initiatives through social media and paid media (SEA), by developing targeted campaigns aligned with the company’s strategic priorities,
- Strengthen the internal visibility of Medical Affairs and contribute to building its identity,
- Work closely with other Medical Affairs departments to identify and promote key projects and activities, both internally and externally,
- Animate and grow the Medical Affairs community to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration,
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize the impact of medical communication activities using relevant performance indicators,
- Participate in cross-functional communication initiatives with other departments (Corporate Communication, Global Marketing Communication, etc.).
Who are you?
- You hold a degree in health sciences (e.g., microbiology, molecular biology, infectious diseases...),
- You have experience in medical or scientific communication and/or hold a degree in communication,
- You have a good understanding of the hospital/medical environment; previous experience in the pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry is a plus,
- Current in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel),
- Strong command of social media and sponsored media platforms, with proven experience in their strategic use,
- Proficiency in creative tools (InDesign, Canva, Photoshop, etc.),
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and accuracy,
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and a solution-oriented approach,
- Experience working in cross-functional teams,
- Strong team spirit and collaborative attitude.
Travel (domestic and international) is expected to represent 5–10% of your time.
