What will be your main accountabilities?

 

Attached to the R&D Department and integrated within the “BioMolecule Engineering” unit, you will play a key role in the development of rare-earth-based nanoparticles. As part of an ambitious research program, we are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with strong expertise in the synthesis, characterization, and surface engineering of nanoparticles.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize nanoparticle synthesis for in vitro diagnostic assays
  • Design high‑efficiency core–shell nanoparticles
  • Characterize synthesized nanoparticles and evaluate their optical performance
  • Present results regularly in team meetings and prepare clear, structured technical reports
  • Promote scientific output through patent applications, publications, and conference presentations.

 

 

What is your profile?

 

  • PhD in inorganic chemistry or materials chemistry, with solid expertise in the field of rare-earth-based nanoparticles with strong experience in nanomaterial synthesis.
  • Proficient in analytical and characterization techniques associated with nanoparticles (electronic microscopy, …).
  • Knowledge of anti‑Stokes luminescence mechanisms and energy‑transfer processes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment (chemistry, optics, biology).
