What will be your main accountabilities?
You will define and shape bioMérieux’s strategic vision for data‑driven and computational infectious disease diagnostics, by identifying long‑term opportunities, competitive shifts, and investment priorities linked to data, algorithms, and high‑dimensional diagnostic interpretation.
This role strengthens Strategic Marketing’s capability to anticipate and frame future value creation enabled by data, while ensuring clear complementarity with the Data/IT Integrated Solutions franchise, which owns digital product roadmaps and software/algorithm execution. It provides the upstream strategic framing needed to orient Innovation (R&D), partnering, and portfolio decisions.
You will provide market‑back strategic direction for the future of computational and data-enabled diagnostics and evaluate how high‑dimensional diagnostic data, algorithmic interpretation layers, and longitudinal datasets will reshape clinical workflows, market expectations, competitive dynamics, and business models.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify high-impact opportunities in data-driven and computational diagnostics (algorithmic interpretation, multi-variable signatures, host–pathogen data integration).
• Define strategic priorities, market potential, and long-term value creation enabled by data and advanced analytics.
• Provide strategic insights to upstream innovation, assessing feasibility, differentiation potential, and clinical relevance.
• Support Business Development activities by evaluating diagnostics startups and data-centric platforms (IA/Machine learning)
• Ensure strong alignment with R&D, medical affairs, market access, and the Data/IT Integrated Solutions franchise.
What is your profile?
• Experience in strategy (consulting, corporate strategy, innovation) within digital health, AI/ML, diagnostics, or health tech. Strategic thinking.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML principles, data governance, and healthcare data environments.
• Ability to translate complex computational concepts into clear strategic recommendations.
• Strong analytical structuring, synthesis, and executive communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, emerging technology spaces.
