Educational Qualification:
Minimum: B.com & BSc.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Customer Service
Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job
The Planner & Scheduler role is the interface Support Center & Field Service and is responsible for updating and monitoring the field agents' schedules in a timely and accurate manner. This role schedules all field interventions (service delivery on-site) such as corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, project, installation, training.
He/she appreciates the urgency of the customer and/or field agent and acts accordingly.He/she plans resource capacity and allocation, and monitors the execution of activities according to contracts, customer type, according to severity, and agreed service level.
This role works closely with the Supply Chain department to ensure parts are available for any kind of customer visit and reschedules visits otherwise to drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Optimize service and support planning, scheduling, assignment, and dispatching.
2. Update and manage the service schedule in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Coordinate, communicate, and work cross-functionally with other teams in the service.
4. Plan and communicate on assignments in advance.
5. Identify resource needs/shortages/excess.
6. Assign and dispatch field agents with the right skills to a work order, in alignment with service levels and severity.
7. Ensure and check if field agents are equipped with the required parts to perform field service visits.
8. Work closely with the supply chain department to provide input for parts planning, orders, and delivery.
9. Inform customers and confirm appointments.
10.Inform stakeholders about any unplanned activity.
