Medical Scientific Liaison – LUMED (m/w/d)

Data & IT Solutions for AMR/AMS

Location: Remote across Germany

 

Reporting to the Cluster Medical Affairs Director the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based resource that supports the scientific medical strategy of bioMérieux data & IT solutions and will act as a data & IT solution (e.g. LUMED) MSL to ensure that solutions like the Clinical Decision Support solution (CDSS) will bring the expected medico-economic value to the hospital settings.

 

 

Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to be a Clinical expert on bioMérieux's clinical data IT solutions, specifically on Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS), is to demonstrate their value throughout the sales cycle to decision makers and other stakeholders identified within the accounts managed by the Senior Healthcare Business Developer.

  • They work closely with sales and marketing to promote the clinical data IT solutions portfolio.

  • In addition, you are also responsible for identifying new use cases opportunities within the defined accounts and territory.

  • The LUMED Medical Scientific Liaison is part of the clinical pre-sale cycle and translates customer needs into clinical answers, to propose the right workflow and secure the sale throughout the opportunity lifecycle. You will also accompany the customer during the deployment of the solution by ensuring a successful delivery of complex medical rules.

 

 

What will be your responsibilities?

 

  • Capture stakeholders’ attention and make them ambassadors of our solutions’ value

  • Demonstrate solutions’ key benefits to the customers

  • Explain clinical value and rules to the clinicians

  • Ensure proximity follow-up & accompany the customer during installation project as well as their long term journey in partnership with bioMerieux

  • Act as the interface with the global product team

  • Support user adoption to realise the benefit case

  • Feed the internal team with new additional requirements (medico-economic) coming from customer’s needs

 

Who are you?

 

  • Medical degree (Pharmacist, Clinician) with strong interest in Clinical Decision software

  • Experience in hospital environment preferred

  • Exposure to projects and value based approaches is a plus

  • Experience working in clinical settings, with ASP or IPC teams

  • Sales exposure in biopharmaceutical environment is a plus

  • IT & data savvy

  • Local language + English

  • Remote anywhere in Germany

  • Good communication skills, take initiatives and demonstrate can-do attitude taking complete ownership of given topic

  • Solution oriented

  • Experience in Healthcare business, preferably in clinical/ hospital environment

  • Team spirit and customer & patient oriented
