Strategic Marketing Lead/Manager – Pharma Quality Control (PQC) (m/w/d)

YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Marketing Leader with deep expertise in Pharma Quality Control (PQC) to drive our marketing strategy in Central Europe. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in pharmaceutical marketing, hands-on experience in pharma quality control, and proven leadership capabilities. A key focus of this role is to promote and support the adoption of modern microbiological analysis methods within the pharmaceutical QC landscape, aligning our strategy with evolving industry standards and customer needs.

 

You will lead a team of 3 PQC Poduct managers and collaborate closely with commercial and regional stakeholders to shape and execute a marketing roadmap that aligns with regulatory expectations and customer needs in the pharma QC space.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic & Portfolio Marketing

  • Develop and execute a 3–5 year strategic marketing roadmap for PQC in Central Europe; from segmentation and targeting to positioning and value proposition. Focusing on customer expectations, regulatory dynamics and the advancement of modern microbiological analysis methods in PQC.
  • Shape the local portfolio and solution strategy, identifying gaps, contribute to product/service pipeline and support successful launches aligned with global and regional priorities.

 

Market Intelligence & Business Development

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to guide strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities in the pharma QC domain in collaboration with the Cluster Director and sales leadership.

 

Go-to-Market & Offer Development

  • Collaborate with Sales and KAM teams to implement targeted go-to-market plans, ensuring relevance to pharma QC customers and regulatory environments.

 

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of three PQC Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Act as the key marketing contact within the Central Europe Cluster, ensuring alignment across sales, service, and support functions.
  • Represent Central Europe Marketing within the regional marketing community contributing to strategic alignment, sharing local insights and ensuring cluster priorities are embedded in regional plans and initiatives.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a degree in marketing, ideally strategic marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic marketing within a pharmaceutical company, with direct exposure to pharma quality control.
  • You bring strong interpersonal and team leadership experience and know how to work with a cross-functional team.
  • You have a strong understanding of regulated environments and pharma QC standards.
  • You are fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Based in Germany or Austria, and open to travel (~40%) within Central Europe.
