We are looking for a People Partner – Nordics, based in Oslo, to support our growing teams across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. The position covers around 140 employees across Manufacturing, R&D, Commercial, and Customer Service functions.
About the role
Reporting to the HR Manager Benelux & Nordics, you will be the key People Partner for the Nordic countries a trusted advisor to managers and employees across all functions.
You will lead the full scope of HR responsibilities, from operational delivery to people development and engagement initiatives. You’ll ensure that our HR processes are implemented efficiently, that leaders are supported in their people management, and that every employee experience reflects the values and mission of bioMérieux.
You will also play a key role in the integration of a new entity in the Nordics, ensuring alignment of HR practices, a smooth transition, and sustained engagement of teams.
Your main responsibilities
People Partnership
- Act as the main HR contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on all people-related topics.
- Coach and support managers across all HR processes — performance, development, engagement, and employee relations.
- Translate business priorities into actionable HR plans that support organizational performance and growth.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee payroll for the Nordic countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery in collaboration with external providers.
- Manage employment contracts, benefits, and personnel administration.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Handle various HR administration processes including hiring, terminations, expatriate management, and statistical reporting.
- Administer rewards and benefits programs.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Lead initiatives that foster belonging, trust, and collaboration across sites and functions.
- Partner with managers on employee well-being, performance, and career development.
- Promote company culture and values through inclusion and empowerment initiatives.
Performance, Development & People Analytics
- Drive annual HR cycles (performance management, compensation review).
- Monitor and analyze key people metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and recruitment.
- Ensure people processes are effective, transparent, and aligned with business needs.
Organizational Development & Integration
- Contribute to organizational design and workforce planning.
- Lead HR-related activities in the integration of a new entity, ensuring alignment of processes and employee engagement.
Who are you ?
- Experienced People Partner / HR Generalist with a proven track record in an international environment.
- Strong HR operational background and solid understanding of Nordic labor laws and HR practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
- Fluent in English; Swedish, Danish, or Finnish is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or scientific environments is appreciated.
