We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Product Manager for our SpinChip Platform to join our BenNor Clinical Marketing Team, covering the Benelux and Nordics markets.

 

Our Marketing Team is responsible for the full range of bioMérieux clinical products across the Benelux and Nordics regions. As a key player in this team, you will manage and drive the SpinChip strategy for bioMérieux’s portfolio in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland.

 

Based in Norway, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth, ensure product excellence, and deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals in these dynamic markets.

 

The SpinChip Product Manager is responsible for marketing activities related to the SpinChip platform (including instruments, test cartridges and associated services), and for designing, adapting and implementing market strategies to ensure continued growth and profitability for bioMérieux in a dynamic and competitive marketplace. This role combines both product and strategic marketing management.

 

 

Main Accountabilities of the role: 

 

  • Develop and implement the local marketing plan, building strong customer relationships and aligning all relevant functions with the overall strategy.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, taking into account local specificities.
  • Oversee all activities related to bioMérieux products and services within the scope: solutions, value proposition, communication channels for each key stakeholder.
  • Ensure strong alignment and collaboration between Global Marketing, regional teams and local stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, Medical Affairs and Marketing counterparts across the BenNor cluster).
  • Marketing support for Nordics and contribution towards the achievement of commercial targets for the product range through strategic marketing, as well as operational product management activities (forecast, allocations etc., as part of supply chain management, preparation of launch files).
  • Develop a plan to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities, customer engagement, and commercial impact.
  • Contribute to budget adherence, actions related to the strategic plan, and commercial launch.
  • Work close with the local sales teams by co-visits, in order to ensure the correct use of the tools provided, to monitor implementation of action plans, and to detect improvements needed on tools or missing ones.
  • Spend time in the field on a regular basis (30-40% of time) subject to operational demands, working both independently and together with the commercial team in support of the business, to prepare compelling and credible ‘why buy’ messaging and argumentation, and market test before market product launch.
  • Contribution to the development of a Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) network. Act as an ambassador for bioMérieux with internal and external customers.
  • Support and compliment key business functions within the organization, in order to maintain and validate the product offer; monitor the plan versus organization capabilities to deliver and adjust as appropriate to deliver the offer. (Sales forecasts, logistics, service /support, sales administration etc.)
  • Develop and manage external communication activities (digital campaigns, press releases, advertising, events) and represent bioMérieux at exhibitions, congresses and industry meetings.
  • Launch of new products/instrument/services following the Launch Excellence process, including ownership of market product launch and knowledge transfer to the Commercial team.

 

The position will be based in Norway, however there will be the need to travel outside of the Nordics within BenNor Cluster and EMEA (occasionally), according to the business needs.

 

The SpinChip Platform includes a point-of-care immunoassay analyzer, single-use test cartridges, and associated solutions designed to deliver rapid, laboratory-quality diagnostic results directly at the point of care.

 

 Who are You ?

 

  • Higher scientific education (PhD, Master’s degree or equivalent), with several years of experience in clinical diagnostics, immunoassays or related fields, and a good understanding of diagnostic testing in clinical settings.
  • A background in molecular biology, immunoassays or clinical diagnostics would be an asset.
  • English fluent.
  • Minimum 3 years of Product Management/Marketing experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical diagnostic workflows, particularly in acute care or point-of-care settings; able to interact with KOLs as peers, design and deliver presentations, organize local meetings and support local evaluation studies. Comfortable working within an international matrix organization.
  • Current industry knowledge and understanding of our customers (hospitals, emergency departments, laboratories) and local reimbursement mechanisms as appropriate, operating within a highly regulated CE-IVD compliant diagnostic marketplace.
  • Good knowledge of the competition in the point-of-care and immunoassay diagnostics field.
  • Strong communication skills, able to share product and market knowledge with and inspire Commercial, Service and business support teams.
  • Emotionally intelligent, a flexible team player, analytical in thinking, strong customer/patient focus & results oriented.
  • Enthusiastic & highly committed to succeed, organization & planning skills.
  • Capability to work with high autonomy and also be comfortable working as part of a team.
