Product/Market Manager Clinical Microbiology for Czechia, Slovakia & Hungary
Location: Czechia (Prague preferred)
Your Mission
Within the global strategy framework, you will design and implement local marketing strategies that maximize business performance, strengthen competitive positioning, and drive profitable growth. You will act as the commercial interface between local markets and global functions, ensuring alignment while adapting to specific regional needs.
You will oversee the full product lifecycle — from pre-launch preparation to phase-out — ensuring market relevance, pricing excellence, and sales enablement at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support & Product Knowledge Leadership
- Ensure strong product knowledge across sales teams.
- Organize and lead product trainings and workshops to drive motivation and commercial effectiveness.
- Act as the key marketing reference for integrated product solutions.
- Support subsidiaries proactively with tailored commercial tools and guidance.
- Monitor competitors activity and create the strategy to ensure our business goals.
2. Product Lifecycle & Market Excellence
- Manage products end-to-end: pre-launch, launch, growth optimization, and termination.
- Customize global strategies for local markets to drive growth.
- Translate Voice of Customer (VOC) and market insights into strategic recommendations.
- Provide feedback on competition, market trends, and regional developments.
3. Cross-Functional & External Collaboration
- Act as the link between local markets and global marketing.
- Work transversally across brands and product lines, contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Support organization of congresses, symposia, KOL engagement, and customer visits.
- Build strong networks internally and externally to strengthen market presence.
4. Commercial Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy for assigned product lines and integrated solutions.
- Contribute to the Marketing Plan, Business Plan, and Strategic Planning process.
- Monitor and challenge sales performance in collaboration with local teams.
- Ensure pricing coherence and profitability in line with corporate standards.
- Develop pricing structures based on market conditions and competitive analysis.
Requirements:
1. Education and Experience:
- Mandatory degree in biology (BS) or similar field, marketing/sales degree is a plus.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing.
- Experience as a Lab Technician/Lab Manager in a routine Laboratory is a plus.
2. Skills and Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of IVD/diagnostics lab environment.
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Be ready for the customers meetings and creating KOL networking.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Financial indicators understanding and analytical skills.
- International mindset and ability to adjust in multicultural environments.
3. Language and Travel:
- Fluent in Czech and English is mandatory.
- Approximately 30% - 40% customer-facing travel time required.
