REGIONAL COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PARTNER, LATIN AMERICA

 

  1. MISSION OVERVIEW

The Regional C&B Partner, LATAM, will lead the Compensation & Benefits strategy for Latin America, ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and support for business transformation, while maintaining consistency with global practices, adapting to local needs, and maintaining an employee value proposition that remains consistent and attractive across Latin America.

 

The Regional C&B Partner, LATAM, will report to the Sr. Director, Human Resources - Latin America.

  1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Market Trend Monitoring
    • Stay updated on compensation and benefits practices in the region to maintain competitiveness.
    • Conduct and analyze external compensation surveys and market trends to develop innovative compensation initiatives and manage cyclical activities such as open enrollment
  • Bridge Between Global and Regional Teams and Business Leaders
    • Act as a liaison between the global compensation team and regional leaders, translating business needs into appropriate policies and programs.
    • Partner with managers to define compensation packages that ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
    • Train HRBPs and leaders on C&B practices, career ranges, and JA as a tool for dialogue and development.
    • Support Transformation Projects in the region (integrations, restructures, new businesses), ensuring pay/benefits structures enable change.
  • Data Management and Analysis
    • Ensure accurate and timely data for salary reviews, inflation, offers, benefits, and structural adjustments.
    • Support or coordinate the region’s participation in market surveys according to local practices.
    • Perform comprehensive audits to verify the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of compensation practices and data within the system of record
    • Ensure adherence to Job Architecture (families, streams, levels, profiles) as the foundation for pay structures, career paths, and communication.
    • Conduct ad-hoc reviews (turnover due to pay, attraction challenges, organizational changes) and recommend market positioning adjustments.
  • Benefits & Total Rewards
    • Map, benchmark, and optimize benefits packages (health, life, meal, transportation, mobility, wellness, retirement), balancing harmonization and local customization across Latin America.
    • Manage vendors and administrators (negotiation, SLAs, quality, employee experience) and lead flex benefits projects
  • Policy Communication and Implementation
    • Guarantee that global, regional, and Local policies are communicated and applied correctly, including merit cycles, inflation, benefits, promotions, and incentive programs.
    • Implement and develop Regional policies aligned with global practices.
    • Reviewed and validated the local policies, ensuring that they are aligned with the Global policies and strategies.
  • Support Global Compensation Philosophy
    • Contribute to the execution of global strategies, including short- and long-term incentive programs, equity plans, and process governance.
    • Lead the design and end-to-end management of compensation programs, including salary adjustments, inflation, bonuses, and rewards, benefits ensuring strategic alignment and compliance.

 

  1. STUDIES & EXPERIENCES: 
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Psychology, or related; MBA/post-grad preferred.
  • Expected 8–12+ years in Compensation & Benefits/Total Rewards, with multi-country LATAM exposure.
  • Expertise in Job Architecture, job evaluation/levelling, and market pricing with global providers.
  • Experience in managing pay structures, incentives (STI/LTI), mobility, benefits, and compensation analytics, and tools and benchmarks (Mercer, WTW, CompAnalyst), Excel/BI, HRIS/ERP systems.

LANGUAGE: Fluent in Spanish and English. Portuguese will be a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This role could be a hybrid model or home office model. 

LOCATION: The position could be based in any subsidiary of Latin America, such as Brasil, México, Chile, Colombia and Argentina.
