Our International Distribution Center (IDC) based in Saint-Vulbas (Ain, 30 minutes from Lyon) is seeking a Supply Chain Management Department Manager, reporting to the Site Management team.

Our highly automated logistics site employs approximately 200 people across three shifts and underwent a complete transformation in 2023 (expansion, automation, and new IT tools).

What will be your mission ?

As a member of the Saint-Vulbas Site Committee, you will be jointly responsible for safety, industrial performance (Quality, Cost, Service), and the IDC's reputation within bioMérieux and with customers. More specifically, you will manage and develop a team of around ten employees (technicians and managers) and lead the three business units of the SCM (Supply Chain Management) department. Supply Chain Operations

You will be responsible for the operational management of the business: stock and inventory management, picking implementation, order integration, IT tool configuration, etc.

You will ensure the workload/capacity ratio and service quality for other operational functions (IDC Operations, subsidiaries, Global Supply Chain), as well as the training and versatility of the teams.

You will manage the business through performance indicators and promote the implementation of performance improvement solutions.

Operational Performance and Processes: you are responsible for ensuring the robustness of cross-functional tools and processes. 

You develop and sustain the site's culture of continuous improvement: you lead operational performance improvement projects in collaboration with other site departments, you facilitate the development of team empowerment and initiative.

You ensure project/business collaboration during projects.

Customer Partnership: you improve the service provided to the site's internal (subsidiaries, Global Supply Chain) and external (distributors, end customers supplied directly) customers. You involve and empower the various stakeholders to develop and deliver an IDC Customer Roadmap. 

You represent the voice of the customer on the site committee.

You facilitate understanding of the IDC service for all customers. You define the roadmaps for the "Performance" and "Customer Service" divisions, in line with the expectations of the site committee and local or global Supply Chain contacts.

You ensure the monitoring and consistency of initiatives implemented across the various roadmaps (client, field, tools) to improve industrial and customer performance in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

You lead structuring projects to improve performance, processes, or the IDC service, drawing on your team's resources. 

You are a proactive force in embracing best practices within your team and the site: continuous improvement, benchmarking, technology and process monitoring, etc.

Who are you ?

A trained engineer in Industrial Engineering/Production, ideally with a specialty in Continuous Improvement.

You have at least 8 years of Supply Chain experience leading a similarly sized technical team, where you have acquired knowledge and proficiency in the main SC IT tools (WMS/ERP/Dashboards, etc.) and Lean Management.

You have also led key multidisciplinary supply chain projects.

You are pragmatic, methodical, and possess excellent analytical and synthesis skills.

You are recognized for your interpersonal and managerial skills, your listening skills, and your ability to support operational teams. 

You also possess shared responsibility and a broad perspective, enabling you to effectively contribute to the site committee and represent the site externally.

You have a good level of English.
