bioMérieux is strengthening its industrial capacity to better serve its customers by establishing a new syndromic tests production unit at the La Balme-les-Grottes site.

A strategic project has been launched, which involves expertise sharing and collaboration between our American and French teams based in La Balme-les-Grottes and Grenoble.

 

This ambitious project offers real chances to grow professionally in an innovative and international environment.

 

To support the growth of our team and further develop our expertise, we are looking for our future VIE 18 months US Salt Lake City - International Mobility, who will report to the Global International Mobility team.

 

What will your responsibilities be?

 

As part of the International Mobility department, you will be responsible for managing the expatriate population of an industrial project. Your main tasks will include:

 

  • Handling the administrative side of international mobility within the scope of the project: drafting expatriation contracts and amendments, maintaining expatriate records in the HRIS, handling purchase orders, tracking invoices, and processing reimbursement requests for employees on international assignments (expatriates, VIE)
  • Assigning relocation agencies and coordinating the full installation support process (from pre-visit to final settlement)
  • Collecting and sending required documents for visas to the immigration service provider.
  • Handling insurance enrollments and registrations with specific expatriate organizations.
  • Booking fleet vehicles assigned to expatriates in coordination with the travel department.
  • Acting as the primary contact for expatriates regarding all logistical aspects of international mobility, in collaboration with external service providers.
  • Overseeing the administrative processes of VIE in partnership with our external partners.

 

Who are you?

 

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, ideally with a specialization in international mobility
  • First experience in supporting international mobility, ideally involving collaboration with the United States.
  • Strong writing skills, affinity for figures, attention to details, good listening and communication skills are key behaviors for this role.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken – C1 level).
  • Proficient in IT tools (Excel).
