Job Purpose
The Medical Affairs Assistant Manager is responsible for driving clinical evidence generation, scientific communication, and stakeholder engagement to support the medical value of the company’s diagnostic solutions. The role fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration to advance healthcare and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Evidence Generation and Support
- Establish and maintain expert level understanding of published, ongoing, and proposed future activities for evidence generation aligned with company priorities.
- Lead and coordinate company-sponsored studies and investigator-initiated trials in compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines and bioMerieux policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to identify investigators and study sites, assist in developing study protocols and materials, and support data collection, analysis, and publication.
2. Scientific Communication and Medical Education
- Communicate un-biased, evidence-based scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals, scientific leaders, payors, and others within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Develop and deliver educational presentations on disease state awareness, product updates, clinical trial results, and best practices for using the company's diagnostic tools to HCPs and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all stakeholder inquiries are addressed in a timely manner in compliance with medical and regulatory standards.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Management:
- Identify, map, and profile key influencing stakeholders, including KOLs, payers, and healthcare institutions.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders through medical engagement strategic plans.
- Develop advocacy and manage speaker bureaus and coordinate HCP engagement process for scientific and medical events.
Qualification
- Education
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline (e.g., Infectious Diseases, Clinical Microbiology, Nursing, Pharmacology, Clinical Pathology).
- Experience in writing or publishing scientific papers preferred.
- Experience and Knowledge
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience of hospital setting and /or relevant healthcare or in-vitro diagnostic industry in Medical Affairs or CRO functions.
- Experience in conducting clinical trials, working with KOLs, or presenting at scientific conferences is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and statistical concepts.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and networking skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Self-Motivation: Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Technical: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficiency with administrative and reporting tools (e.g., CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite).
