Job Purpose
The Field Application (FAS) works to retain current customer business, while developing and building customer relationships and intimacy that result in customer loyalty, retention, renewal and positive referrals. FAS promotes cross functional teamwork and cooperation across the business, removes barriers to productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for bioMérieux systems and reagents, including on-site customer training, troubleshooting, and coaching of other professionals.
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in accordance with established standards, ensuring accurate documentation in the ERP system. Collaborate closely with the Application Specialist Network, System Engineers, Management, Global Customer Support, and the Customer Complaint Management Center. Act as the liaison between customers, Quality & Regulatory Affairs Managers, and authorities regarding vigilance processes (e.g., FSCA, FCA), ensuring proper follow-up and documentation.
- Ensure consistent follow-up of the Installed Base to maintain high customer satisfaction and achieve minimum key performance indicators.
- Contribute to revenue generation by promoting value‑added products and services while building strong customer relationships that drive loyalty and positive referrals.
- Support Sales and Marketing teams in achieving successful sales outcomes and market acceptance through product demonstrations, evaluations, and feasibility testing.
- Manage customer data using CRM and SAP systems for accurate and timely information maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain product documentation, including manuals and specifications, to support Sales and Marketing activities.
- Participate in company events and marketing activities, such as seminars, workshops, and exhibitions.
- Ensure compliance with quality, legal, and ethical standards as well as internal company policies.
- Initiate and manage field or team projects, contributing to knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Natural science, Bioscience, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in QC/QA laboratories within the pharmaceutical company or related field, including method/instrument validation and qualification, GMP related operations, regulatory audit (e.g., MFDS), and Microbial laboratory work.
- Experience with Endotoxin testing and Mycoplasma testing is preferred.
- Demonstrated teaching and training abilities, with the capacity to work independently, multitask efficiently, and manage competing priorities in a fast -paced environment.
- Expert level knowledge of assigned product ranges and applications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and clearly articulate ideas.
- Proven ability to serve as a key contributor in service offering and deployment, with a solid understanding of customer laboratory workflows and a broad view of proposed solutions.
- Ability to train peers, newcomers, and distributors, within their area of expertise.
- Fluency in English is preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office applications.
- Must be able to operate a vehicle
- Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally, without restrictions.
