Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job:

  • Lead and drive end-to-end demand planning processes across ASEAN to ensure forecast accuracy, demand visibility, and alignment with business strategy, enabling optimal inventory, service level (OTIF), and supply chain performance.

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Demand Planning & Forecast Management: Lead monthly demand planning cycle across ASEAN (Demand Review, forecast consolidation, S&OP inputs); Consolidate and validate country forecasts (distributors, direct markets, tenders, lifecycle events); Ensure alignment of volume and value forecasts with commercial and financial targets
  • S&OP / IBP Governance (ONE PLAN): Anchor ASEAN Demand Review and contribute to regional S&OP / IBP process; Facilitate cross-functional alignment (Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain); Drive implementation and adoption of IBP tools (e.g., SAP IBP) and standardized planning processes
  • Cross-functional & Regional Coordination: Act as the key interface between countries, regional teams, and global supply planning; Coordinate demand signals from distributors, KAMs, marketing campaigns, and market intelligence; Align with supply teams on risks, constraints, and mitigation plans; Support product lifecycle management (launches, phase-outs, regulatory changes)
  • Performance Management & Analytics: Monitor and analyze key KPIs - Forecast Accuracy (volume & value); OTIF / service level; Demand bias and variability; Identify root causes of forecast gaps and drive corrective actions
  • Inventory & Risk Management: Ensure demand visibility to support optimal inventory positioning and replenishment; Proactively identify risks and opportunities (excess, shortages, obsolescence, tender spikes); Support VMI, distributor model, and inventory governance initiatives
  • Transformation & Continuous Improvement: Lead demand planning transformation initiatives (e.g., ONE PLAN / IBP rollout); Standardize processes across ASEAN markets; Drive digitalization, automation, and data quality improvement.

 

Typical Studies-Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

Studies-Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 6–10 years’ experience in demand planning / supply chain / S&OP
  • Experience in regional or multi-country environment preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

  • SAP / SAP IBP / APO or equivalent planning systems
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI / Tableau preferred
  • Data-driven decision-making mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced planning and forecasting knowledge
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a complex, fast-changing ASEAN environment
