The HR Head for BMX ASEAN, as one key leader working in the ASEAN leadership team, leads the local HRBP team, and collaborates with corporate and regional HR to continuously optimize OneHR model in ASEAN. The ASEAN HR Head will translate global and country business strategy into HR strategy and organizational needs to HR solutions and plans. This role will support to develop and execute ASEAN People Strategy for short and long-term business success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as HR Integration team lead in ASEAN and be the ASPAC HR leadership team member
  • Develops HR strategy, solutions and strategic workforce plans that align to ASEAN strategy and objectives
  • Responsible for and focus on building a great organizational culture through initiating and implementing various HR programs
  • Leads, develops and engages the team in alignment with the country and global BioMerieux HR model including COEs, to ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR solutions to the leaders, managers and colleagues
  • Builds and drives a culture of compliance by ensuring adherence to the company’s Code of Conduct policy, business ethics, and employment legislation
  • Facilitates organizational diagnosis and metrics to drive organizational effectiveness through talent and organizational capabilities and culture.
  • Executes the implementation of culture strategies and initiatives
  • Builds organizational capability and people manager capability through developing people managers with talent development programs
  • Acts as a change agent by leading integration and organizational change initiatives (M&A activity, cultural integration, site restructures, consolidations, functional harmonization, etc.)
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships across the HR organization including regional, global business and corporate and regional HR.
  • Stays up to date with market business and HR trends and implements best practices with the goal of establishing strong colleague engagement and positioning the company as an employer of choice
  • Provides HR insights for business and external markets, proactively influence talent and business decisions

 

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates the core values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement in a visible manner. 
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree or MBA in a related field is preferred. 
  • An experienced HR leader with a minimum of 15 years in the field, including at least the last 5 years as a strategic HR business partner to senior leadership teams or as a Talent and Organization Development Leader. 
  • Possesses strong organizational agility along with international experience within highly matrixed organizations. 
  • Exhibits robust business acumen with a proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive successful business outcomes. 
  • Capable of attracting, hiring, engaging, and developing exceptional talent while motivating others to do the same. 
  • A strong team leader who also excels as a collaborative team player. 
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity effectively and make difficult decisions when necessary. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions within a global context, including talent and organizational development, employee relations, labor relations, compensation and benefits management (HROP), diversity and inclusion initiatives, and compliance matters.  
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies through exposure or practical experience.   
  • A history of achieving positive results coupled with the ability to successfully implement new programs and policies while demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Established credibility as a trusted advisor who fosters trust, loyalty, and inspiration among colleagues.
  • Strong influencing skills capable of effecting change both with direct authority and without it.
  • Experience leading restructuring efforts and transformation projects in previous roles.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; excellent verbal communication, writing abilities, and presentation skills are required.
