We are looking for a technical writer to join a team of 12 co-workers within the Product Labeling & Documentation department, reporting to an Operational Manager within the PLD Operational Hub France

What will be your mission at bioMérieux ?

Responsible for initiating, updating, and maintaining the IFU (instruction for use) documentation, working closely with a broad range of internal cross-functional teams. Among the daily tasks are:

- Gathering documentary sources,

- Understanding the scope of the products and their marketing ranges

- Authoring package inserts, manuals, and labels for Reagents, and/or Systems and Instruments (English Master file)

- Scheduling and leading IFU dedicated meetings

- Handling the reviews and approval of the documentation

- Initiating and monitoring the translation and publication processes

- Comply with regulatory requirements, internal procedures, and established standards and templates

- Define and meet delivery dates, regularly updating the team coordinator on your progress

- Propose innovative solutions to enhance documentation usability and process efficiency

Regular trips from/to our Craponne and La Balme les Grottes sites are part of this role

Who are you ?

- You have a Master Degree in Technical Writing or Multilingual and Multimedia Communication, or can demonstrate/have professional experience in technical writing

- You master XML structured writing and the good practices of technical writing (Oxygen, DITA, XML, minimalism). The knowledge of IxiaSoft is highly appreciated

- Communicate effectively and accurately, both in French and English (B2 certified)

- Immediate proficiency using Microsoft Office pack, Adobe Creative Suite, (in particular InDesign), DTP tools, illustration and image editing softwares

- Rely on pre-established written guidelines and corporate procedures to perform job functions and ensure consistency of IFU documentation

- Ability to recognize important and high-level technical information, and to report them in the IFU

- Can effectively work as part of an international team and support the team with a helpful attitude, facilitate/influence decisions, and comfortable in speaking up in meetings

- Demonstrate autonomy in managing daily tasks

- Ability to stay positive and calm in stressful situations

- Ability to adjust to changes in scheduling, and general flexibility in the work environment

- Effective organization, feel comfortable managing multiple authoring projects simultaneously
